Granite Steak & Grill: A Premier Steakhouse Experience in Rochester, NH

This place has THE BEST Prime Rib within 50 miles of the NH Seacoast. And it's ALWAYS on the menu.

This might be our new go-to. We loved everything about it. They have a decent beer list, and I liked that she asked if we wanted bread and butter, instead of assuming. The service was just like it should be, she did all the right things in the right order. The food came out in a very reasonable time, and everything was delicious. I had a special order - the dragon steak on a salad, and my husband had the strip steak. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. There are many sides to choose from, he chose red skinned mashed potatoes and they were really good. They have a lot of different kinds of salad dressings too, and I love all the different sizes of prime rib you can get, starting at 8 oz. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and I think the total bill for everything we got was extremely reasonable. We are looking forward to coming back to try the prime rib and many other menu items in the future.

Had dinner at Granite Steak & Grill tonight. The service was great with our waitress making sure my wife's meal came without cheese (always tough with Italian dishes. My Shrimp Scampi (small size) was ample with lots of shrimp. And my French Onion soup was excellent. We were seated in one of the side rooms at a comfortable booth with windows. One small glitch was our meals came out with the soup. That and no chocolate ice cream. Certainly we'll go back again some time soon.

At Granite Steak & Grill -- At Granite Steak & Grill -- We had a nice 28th anniversary dinner here. New place for us to try out. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxed and the wait staff was great. The food was amazing. Rick opted for baked haddock (which was light and flaky) with baked potato and apple sauce and I had chicken Marsala. The chicken was tender and the sauce and mushrooms were very flavorful. We ended with a shared slice of lemon creme cake. Came home and looked at the fire in the sky. Perfect ending to another year -- celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Stopped in on our way home from errands! Seated right away! Drinks asap and we checked out the menu! Heard the specials! We ordered , we both had the prime rib! And they have a senior Discount starting at the age 55! Welp I took advantage of that! Food came out fast like faster than McDonalds! ( that scared me ) but all in all the food was good! Could of been slightly warmer. The senior meal comes with entree 2 sides soda & dessert! The out side of the place very nice! The inside is a bit dated!! And the cool food & inside are why I didnt give it 4 stars! But Faith our waitress was amazing!
